Create a Beautiful Coaster Set : Fluid Art Workshop with Liz Warner

In this 2-part workshop, Fluid Acrylic Artist, Liz Warner will provide the materials and instruction for each person to create four beautiful fluid art Coasters using the Bloom technique.

Workshop Details:

• Date: Saturday, August 3rd & Tuesday, August 6th
• Time: August 3rd, 10 AM – 1PM August 6th 6PM – 8PM
• Location: Maker’s Loft, 2400 W Michigan Ave
• Fee: $85

What You Will Learn:

In the first session Liz will teach you a variety of techniques for achieving the type of effects displayed in her sample paintings seen here. Everyone will have ample time to create their designs. The coasters will need to remain at Maker’s Loft to dry

In the Second session, Liz will provide materials and instruction to apply a heat resistant coat of epoxy to your coasters. Backing will be provided and the epoxy needs 24 hours to cure. You will be able to take your coasters home after noon on Wed, Friday, or Saturday.

Additional Information:

• All necessary supplies will be provided, including a variety of markers, pens, pencils, and a sheet of symbols to inspire your creativity.
• Your completed work will be ready for framing with the provided black mat and backing.
