Tony Carballo is a Cuban-American oil painter whose work is influenced by Baroque masters and incorporates chiaroscuro and tenebrism to produce dark scenes that also spotlight key figures or elements. His work is primarily centered around the human form and seeks to capture the emotions of the subject expressed within an atmospheric scene.

Although, his passion for art started when he was twelve years old and has been an enriching part of his life ever since, he has only recently become a full-time artist; ending a 16 year career as an Datacenter Cloud Engineer. 

Tony is a retired United States Air Force veteran who served for 22 years in various locations around the world to include three tours in Saudi Arabia (Persian Gulf War and Global War on Terrorism), Germany, Korea, and stateside bases. Today he lives in Milton, FL with his wife and four dogs.
