Biography
“Life is too short to not pursue joy”
After moving to Texas from her home state of Arizona, Betsy spent the majority of her life as a Texan. Seven years ago, her husband accepted an work opportunity in Gulf Shores, Florida, and they have been enjoying the beach life ever since!
Busy with raising her family, She did not begin her artistic journey until her 40s. Starting with acrylic painting, she moved on to mosaics and eventually opened her mosaic gallery and workshop in Waxahachie, Texas. Once moving to Alabama, she accepted an invitation to join a pottery class in Fairhope and it was LOVE! She now focuses her studio time creating face jugs and sculptures. Her style is usually described as whimsical and that makes her happy because Betsy’s goal is for people to see her work and smile 😊.
Betsy is now a member of Quayside Art Gallery in Pensacola, Florida.
