About the Gallery
Quayside Gallery (pronounced “Keyside”) is a wonderful place to see and purchase local art!
As the largest co-op gallery in the Southeast, we feature local artists from Pensacola and the surrounding areas. We have art within many genres including fine art paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, stained glass, etched glass, fine wood working and many, many more.
Staffing is done by unpaid volunteers from PAI.

Our History
Nationally known Quayside Art Gallery faces Plaza Ferdinand at the corner of Zaragoza and Jefferson Streets, in the historic district of Pensacola, Florida. Constructed in 1873, the two-story building was located one block north of the wooden quays, or wharves, use by square-rigged sailing ships. At that time, the building served as the headquarters and social center for the Germania Steam Fire Engine and Hose Company. The building remains much as it was when it housed the Marie Louise, a 2.5 ton horse-drawn steam pumping engine.
Pensacola Artists, Inc. established and still maintains Quayside Art Gallery. PAI is a cooperative organization of more than 200 Artists and Associate Members. Founded in 1973, PAI and its Quayside Gallery are dedicated to fostering and promoting original fine arts and crafts in the West Florida region. Guided tours, free of charge, are available to interested groups and organizations upon request.

Membership
Quayside offers several different types of membership to our gallery!

(You must live within a sixty mile radius of Pensacola to be considered for Artist or Student Membership.)
Because Quayside is a artist owned cooperative, there are member responsibilities and obligations, including work requirements and fees and dues which will be incurred with Artist Membership.
