Elena Dunlap

Elena Dunlap moved here after immigrating to the United States and, over time, found a sense of home and belonging within the local creative community.

The coastal environment of Pensacola has strongly influenced her artistic vision and emotional connection to art.

She works with oil, acrylic, and tempera in her paintings, and also creates art dolls made of textile and polymer clay, as well as flowers made from cold porcelain. Her work combines fine art with a strong handcrafted, tactile approach to materials.

For her, art is a way to preserve warmth, meaning, and emotional sincerity in a fast and often overwhelming world. She creates to slow the viewer down and invite quiet reflection, comfort, and a sense of inner connection. Her work is rooted in gratitude for life, nature, and human resilience.

What makes her work unique is the combination of a soft visual language, handcrafted detail, and emotional honesty. She focuses on natural materials, gentle color palettes, and a sense of living touch in every piece.
Elena joined Quayside Gallery in January 2025. Quayside Gallery is her first gallery.

Being part of its exhibitions marks an important and meaningful step in her artistic journey.
