Deanna Lang

Biography

Deanna Lang is a professional artist living in Pensacola, Florida, originally from Minnesota. A family trip to Florida during her teenage years inspired a dream that she would one day make the Gulf Coast her home — a dream she later fulfilled.

Although art has always been an integral part of her life, Deanna first pursued a career as a Registered Nurse, guided by a lifelong desire to bring healing and care to others. Upon completing her nursing career, she fully embraced her creative calling, studying under professional mentors to refine her technical skill and cultivate her artistic voice.

Her style can be described as Contemporary Luminous Realism with Symbolic and Ethereal Elements. Through layered oils and mixed media, she captures the quiet interplay between the seen and unseen — moments where light itself becomes the language of spirit.

Deanna’s voice is contemplative, spiritual, and nature-centered, speaking to the viewer about connection — between light and life, heaven and earth, spirit and creation. Her work often explores the harmony between beauty and chaos, humanity and divinity, and our eternal relationship with the natural world.
