Esther Tuck works almost exclusively in oils, and is challenged and inspired by realistic portrayal of the beauty she remembers from a childhood in Colorado and Oklahoma. The sights of the many coastal towns she knew as a Navy wife, and the incomparable Gulf scenes of the Pensacola area where she and her husband chose to retire in 1979 have influenced her work. In addition to displaying at Quayside Gallery, she also shows her works at the Eastern Shore Academy in Fairhope, Alabama, the Performing Arts Gallery in Foley, Alabama and the Alabama Convention Center in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
