Mary Lou returned to San Clemente, Ca. worked as an RN. and an artist.

In 2003 she spent 3 weeks in Japan, researching, absorbing the culture, and attending extensive workshops. Inspired by her travels, she is now intently working on paintings and collages for an "Asian Fusion" series.

She has just opened her new studio in Lillian, Al. "Art is a visual expression of the spirit within. In my work, I try to show the balance of fantasy and reality, body and spirit, seen and unseen.
