Jean is a native of Chicago, but often smiles while reflecting on the lucky day she made the Gulf Coast her real home.

Painting watercolors for over 20 years, Jean's personal goals continue to be refned while working with nationally known artists.  To strive for rhythm and movement while telling a story, to create the illusion of emerging design, and to bring order to her paintings through sensitive use of color, line and value are her primary goals today.

Her work is often described as impressionistic and includes a large variety of subject matter.  Commissions are always welcomed.

As an award winning artist, Jean is enjoying more quality time to paint since her retirement from teaching kindergarten.  Her Pensacola Beach studio overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, providing continuous inspiration.
