For me, nature photography started simply as a way to record my trips and adventures so I could remember and revisit them in later years.  What started as an afterthought gradually evolved into a consuming passion.  I hope you find my images both interesting and enjoyable. I strive to capture the beauty of nature as I see it.  Most of my images revolve around those times when the light is sweetest - sunrise and sunset, or when a special opportunity presents itself in a halting manner. Living on the gulf coast of Florida, I'm surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty - the sugar white sand dunes of local beaches, a multitude of streams and rivers, and the mysterious beauty of bottomlands and swamps.
